Sheila was loved by everyone who knew her, She was loving, caring, friendly, funny, but most of all there for anyone who needed her. We lived together for 17 years she was my soul-mate, when i was down she made me happy, she was by my side and always there when i needed her. I lost my mum in July 2004 whom I loved very much I was in bits when she died and had a break down but sheila was there by my side giving me the love and support as always, no matter what i did she gave me encouragement and helped me. I miss her with all my heart and I am completely lost without her. Together we brought up my son Richard from the age of 6, he is now 23. Over the years we have fostered 6 children, Eniola who came to us when she was just 10 weeks old she is still with me now 14years later, then we also fostered short term 2 brothers Tunde and Lanre, Dammy, Emma and Dawn. And since fostering emma and Dawn they have given us 4 wonderful foster grandchildren, Dawn has 2 wonderful boys and Emma has 1 wonderful girl and a wonderful boy, sheila loved them all dearly as do I.

The only way I know how to explain how I feel is as if we were a mug tree with you being the centre, and me, rich and enny being the cups. If you take out the centre what happens to the cups?
They fall and break.
17 years is a long time, you have played a big part in Richards life and treated him as your own you have done your best to show him right from wrong, and you have been there from the start with enny and everyone knows how much you loved her. We have had our ups and downs as a family but we have always come out the other side, you have got me through some of the worst times of my life, you have always been there by my side and you have supported and encouraged me in everything I have done. You have done so much for us. So many people have loved you and so many people will miss you. I never left your side Sheila and I know you will never leave mine.
You never said you’re leaving, you never said goodbye
You were gone before we knew it, and only god knows why
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best
They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true
But we never wanted memories, we only wanted you
A million times we’ve needed you, a million times we’ve cried
If love alone could have saved you, you would have never died
In life we loved you dearly; in death we love you still
Our hearts will hold a special place that no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stair case and heartaches build a lane,
We’d walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same
But as god calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
